Aug 1993 Permission granted. Scheme goes no further due to recession, amongst other reasons.
     
June 1995 Schroder Property Investment Management brought in to advise MEC.
     
July 1995 Greycoat and Park Tower acquires Paternoster from Cisneros.
     
Aug 1995 Stanhope and Schroder advise MEC to buy out Greycoat and Park Tower Realty. Farrell scheme discarded due to failure to meet needs of the market and megastructure design.
   
Oct 1995 MEC finalises buying out Greycoat and Park Tower Realty.
   
Feb 1996 William Whitfield appointed as masterplanner.
   
July 1996 Masterplan review by William Whitfield, Stanhope and Schroders completed.
